Senior Project Manager

LOGIS is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large, highly complex IT projects involving multiple stakeholders, departments, and external partners. This position oversees the full project lifecycle—ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget—while also contributing to project governance and organizational best practices. The Senior Project Manager will help shape processes, mentor project management staff, and support strategic alignment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large, complex IT projects from initiation through delivery
- Develop project charters, plans, timelines, budgets, and resource strategies
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, sponsors, and project teams
- Serve as liaison between internal and external teams, managing communication and expectations
- Collaborate to secure and allocate resources; coordinate multi-team efforts
- Implement project governance improvements, standards, methodologies, and tools
- Perform needs analysis, business analysis, and develop change management plans
- Refine project artifacts including scope, milestones, WBS, and roadmaps
- Drive effective decision-making, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and quality control
- Communicate project status and ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Partner with members to achieve objectives and manage shared resource constraints
- Provide leadership, coaching, and serve as an escalation point for project staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, or related field
- PMP certification
- 7+ years managing large-scale, complex IT projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
- Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving organizational change initiatives
- Project portfolio management expertise
- Background in IT infrastructure, software development, or technical administration
- Experience supporting Public Safety or government technology projects

The hiring range for this position is $108,118 -$131,560 annually. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
