The Summer Intern will support the Network Services team with IT procurement and inventory operations, assisting with purchasing workflows, equipment receiving, documentation, and vendor coordination while helping manage routine administrative and operational tasks.

• Assist the Customer Support Specialist with procurement activities, including purchasing hardware and software.
• Collaborate with team members and members to support day-to-day operational and administrative needs.
• Coordinate and track orders with vendors and internal staff.
• Support receiving processes by verifying delivered equipment and updating inventory records.
• Assist in preparing documentation and materials for submission to the Accounts Payable department.
• Assist with documenting internal processes and procedures, including developing new documentation and revising existing processes where applicable.
• Maintain organized records related to purchases, receipts, and vendor documentation.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the team as needed.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 25 pounds.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a closely related field at an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in IT operations, procurement, or public sector technology.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or inventory tracking tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
