Support Analyst
LOGIS has an opportunity for a Support Analyst within our Property & Recreation Application Team. This position functions as a source of information, provides guidance, instruction, and problem-solving to application users. This position supports both in-house developed software and third-party applications, with a key focus on our Community Development, Regulations, and Licensing software, Accela.
This position is part of a team dedicated to supporting the LOGIS membership. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accela Focus: Assisting with the initial implementation and long-term support of our Accela environment, including configuration, user acceptance testing, and ongoing enhancements.
- Support & Training: Intake and triage of member requests, training users on software functionality, and assisting members with user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Troubleshooting user concerns, gathering customer/product information, determining the issue by analyzing symptoms, research using available resources, and clearly communicating solutions.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain paginated and dashboard reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of three years demonstrated experience in providing end-user application support and/or software testing.
- Must be a self-motivator with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, detail-oriented, and possess good customer service skills.
- Confident, critical thinker to be a change agent that identifies solutions.

- We are seeking a data analytics minded individual to work with an agile development team to create datasets and develop visualizations to uncover interesting business trends for our membership as well as our internal operations.

- We are seeking a motivated intern to contribute to our team in either software testing or report development, with the possibility of contributing to both areas! You could play a key role in launching a new application, ensuring its quality through rigorous testing, OR build insightful reports that empower end-users by designing user-friendly paginated reports, tables, and dashboards. You will be a crucial part of improving our testing or reporting processes, including implementing and training the team on testing or reporting source control best practices. Accounting Manager
LOGIS has an opportunity for an Accounting Manager within our Finance & Administration Team. This position is responsible for oversight of all accounting and financial reporting activities. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the LOGIS-supported financial software application team.
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GASB & GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenses
- Manage all audit activity internally and with external auditors
- Consistently analyze financial data
- Communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitor progress and changes and keep the finance director abreast of financial status
- Assist with the annual budgeting and planning process, administer and review all financial plans and compare actual results with the ability to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate
- Ensure that policies, government and IRS regulations are adhered to
- Supervise the daily operations of the financial software application support staff ensuring the success of our membership clients
- Research, analyze and recommend enhancements, upgrades, and implementation of new software for our membership
- Facilitate User Group meetings to provide demos, training sessions, and training materials
- Provide a respectful and professional environment consistent with LGOIS’ culture
- Serve as an active participant in organization-wide projects and initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of seven years of experience in the following areas:
- Accounting or related field
- Knowledge of auditing principles and practices, and the ability to analyze and implement internal controls
- Solid experience with general ledger, payroll, government investment accounting, accounts payables and receivables
- Supervisory experience, with the ability to coach and mentor staff
- Extensive experience working within various industry software packages, such as JDEdwards, Workday, BS&A, Tyler, ADP, NeoGov, or other leading industry software
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with clients, vendors, and internal staff
- A high level of skill in the analysis of problems and formulation of solutions, with the ability to apply critical thinking skills of analysis, inference, and evaluation
- Government accounting experience is preferred
- Technology savvy with experience in software implementation and data conversion desired

Financial Support Analyst
LOGIS has an opportunity for a Support Analyst II or a Senior Support Analyst within our Application Team. This position will capitalize on your advanced accounting and customer support skills set to assist 20 cities using the JD Edwards software. You will be an integral part of the support team, training superusers, and providing ongoing instruction and guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in the areas of AP, AR and/or General Ledger
- Individuals with customer support experience is strongly desired
- Confident, critical thinker to be a change agent that identifies solutions to work through open issues/problems that are under investigation or pending resolution and look for ways to improve support processes
- Must be a self-motivator with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, detail oriented, and the ability to clearly document and convey issues and processes
- Experience with JD Edwards, Hubble and/or Tungsten is strongly desired
