Technical Analyst
The Technical Analyst is responsible for providing development support for a suite of applications. The position will focus on assisting the Application team with various projects including reporting, data conversion, business intelligence, and system configuration and system integrations for various applications.
Essential Functions
- Support, maintain, and QA testing for software solutions.
This includes:- Reports, interfaces, and data extracts using tools like Crystal Reports and SSRS/SSIS.
- Data migration, upgrades, and conversions.
- System integrations, ensuring data integrity.
- Troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Under the direction of product owners and senior staff, collaborate with stakeholders (customers, internal staff, vendors) to:
- Gather and analyze user requirements for system enhancements.
- Design, develop, and implement efficient software solutions.
- Resolve issues as directed.
- Create and maintain technical documentation. This includes reference materials, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of relevant applications, procedures, and standards.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 2 years of experience in the following areas
- Software support and development life cycles.
- Working with relational databases and writing T-SQL queries.
- Working with XML data in a system integrations setting.
- Scripting or programming in Python.
- A high level of skill in the analysis of problems and formulation of solutions.
- Two years’ demonstrated experience leveraging reporting and business intelligence products/tools (i.e., Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, PowerBI, Crystal Reports, etc.)
- Two years’ experience in object oriented and scripting programming languages, preferably Python, C#, ASP.net, and Javascript
- Experience with public sector Community Development, Regulations and Licensing; and/or Property and Special Assessments processes and software. (PDS, PIMS, Accela for example, or others)
- Strong interest or previous experience with business intelligence, data analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence

Service Desk Specialist
The Service Desk Specialist provides first-line technical support, ensuring efficient management of incidents and service requests to deliver high-quality, member-focused solutions. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software, managing user accounts, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Specialist also monitors infrastructure, responds proactively to alerts, and coordinates with relevant teams to uphold service continuity. Additionally, they uphold compliance and security standards, contribute to knowledge management, and engage in user education and training to promote self-service and technical literacy. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, technical proficiency, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems related to hardware and software.
- Receive, prioritize, and triage incoming incidents and service requests; escalate issues to higher-level support as necessary.
- Ensure timely follow-up and closure of assigned tickets.
- Monitor infrastructure systems and networks proactively to identify issues or potential disruptions.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to address infrastructure incidents and maintain service continuity.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and service packs.
- Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, permissions, access, and security groups within Active Directory and other platforms.
- Document and report security incidents or potential vulnerabilities as they arise.
- Create, review, and update knowledge base articles and support documentation.
- Assist in training end users on basic IT practices, system usage, and security best practices.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records of IT assets.
After-hours On-Call Requirement
This position requires participation in an after-hours rotation, which will commence only after the successful completion of a 6-month to 1-year performance evaluation period. Following this period, the employee will be expected to provide first-line after-hours support as needed to maintain identified service levels outside of standard working hours.
Transportation Requirement
This role necessitates travel to member sites as needed. Employees must either hold a current, valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable, operable vehicle, or ensure timely and dependable alternative transportation is available on short notice. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to vehicle operation is required, including maintaining at least the state-mandated minimum coverage for bodily injury and property damage. LOGIS reserves the right to review employee driving records as necessary.
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of one year of experience working in IT support preferably in a managed service environment
